Student Internship program - UCM's
interns are the heart, soul and sweat of our organization! Students
gain experience in all aspects of running a nonprofit, community-based
organization, from coordinating programs to assisting in fundraising
and outreach. UCM currently offers paid internships in PR, Spiritual
Growth and Thursday Supper. UCM also partners with OU programs to
provide internship experience for college credit. Students may also
receive workstudy through a UCM internship. Call 593-7301 or email

Soup for the Soul -Discussion series
bringing campus and community together over a different topic every

Alternative Spring and Winter Break Trips for Ohio University Students - Past trips include
delegations to examine political, economic and social issues in
Nicaragua and Cuba and volunteer work trips to communities in
Appalachia and the US - Mexico border.

Southeast Ohio Underground Railroad Tour - Students and community
members learn about the underground RR history in their area through
visits to important sites including caves and hidden rooms in houses
where escaped slaves hid. TBA.
