INTERFAITH PEACE VIGIL
Saturday, September 11
Athens County Courthouse

Join us in a silent candlelight vigil for victims of all wars and military violence around the world.  Details to come.

INTERFAITH IMPACT STUDENT GROUP
Weekly meetings Tuesdays, 7:00pm – 8:30pm, UCM
The purpose of UCM's interfaith student group is to further the mission of UCM and to engage students in interfaith community, social justice education and activism, and community service. If you are interested in getting more involved with UCM, this is how you do it! Please email Rue at gk184406@ohio.edu.

An overnight retreat is planned for September 25, 26 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Athens.  Free and open to all students to meet new people and engage in personal reflection, sharing and community building.

UCM ANNUAL BENEFIT AUCTION

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 6:00PM

$25 - $100 sliding scale, $15 student/low-income/senior

Featuring a silent and live auction conducted by Shamrock Auction Services, musical entertainment and heavy appetizers. UCM's biggest fundraiser! Details to come!


Local UNDERGROUND RAILROAD TOUR
Fall date to be announced.

Members of the Multicultural Genealogical Center will educate participants on the history of the Underground Railroad in Southeast Ohio. Van tour will take us to a private residence and a cave that hid runaway slaves, and other sites important to local history. $20 covers transportation costs and must be paid in advance. Reservations and payment required.
